For stable and efficient rumen fermentation
AHRHOFF products that are part of the “Pro-line” contain our live yeast Landhauser Pro. Landhauser Pro is characterized by its valuable probiotic effect. Furthermore, the use of Landhauser Pro causes a shift in the rumen flora in favor of the fiber-degrading microbes. This increases the digestibility of the ration and thus feed efficiency. In addition, the fiber-degrading microbes convert lactic acid into propionic acid. The following reduction in lactic acid prevents a sharp drop in the rumen pH and reduces exposure of mucous membranes. More propionic acid is available for the energy metabolism. As a result, both milk quantity and milk protein content increase.
The digestibility of the ration is optimized – improved feed efficiency with the live yeast Landhauser Pro in cattle feeding
Trial results confirm that supplementing Landhauser Pro optimizes the digestive performance of the ration and increases efficiency in cattle feeding. In a recent practical trial, milk yield increased by 1.7 kg.
